AI-Assisted Video Editing Suite Debuts, Promising 70 % Faster Post-Production Workflows

Cloud-native platform combines generative inpainting, one-click conforming and real-time collaboration for studios and solo creators

SAN FRANCISCO – November 20, 2025

Post-production startup FlowCut Systems today launched FlowCut Pro, an AI-assisted video editing suite that automates offline editorial, online conforming and final delivery within a single browser tab. Targeting commercial studios, streaming teams and independent creators, the platform reduces average project turnaround from six days to 1.8 days while maintaining broadcast-quality output, according to early-access metrics released by the company.

The release arrives as the global AI video editing market is projected to surge from USD 0.9 billion in 2023 to USD 4.4 billion by 2033, a 17.2 % compound annual growth rate fueled by insatiable demand for short-form content and shrinking post schedules . A separate study estimates 2025 sector revenue at USD 2 billion, with cloud-first tools capturing the largest share as creative teams abandon on-premise infrastructure .

“Editors no longer have the luxury of picture-lock hand-offs that eat 48 hours,” said Maya Delgado, chief executive of FlowCut Systems. “FlowCut Pro collapses offline creativity and online finishing into a parallel process—our AI conforms color space, audio stems and VFX plates the moment a timeline is saved. That means creatives can experiment without fear of blowing the delivery window.”

Core differentiators include DeepSync™, a generative engine that propagates color-grading or object-removal decisions across an entire clip after a single frame is annotated; VoiceTrim AI, which detects filler words and long pauses in multicam dialogue and auto-rolls timecode to preserve lip-sync; and Render-Once Architecture, which streams proxy files to stakeholders while exporting a master file in the background. Offline teams can iterate inside non-destructive sequences, then pass a cryptographic hash to finishing artists who open the same timeline at full resolution—eliminating the traditional conform step that historically ties up suites and storage .

During beta testing on three unscripted series for a major streaming service, FlowCut Pro eliminated 312 overtime hours and saved an estimated USD 410,000 in facility costs, the company said. Early adopters include Rogue Sun Productions, which used the suite to deliver 4K HDR episodes of its travel docuseries two weeks ahead of a film-festival deadline.

“We cut on location in Bali over Starlink,” said Rogue Sun post-supervisor Leo Park. “The AI removed drone shadows and balanced exposure across 47 shots while our colorist was still asleep in Los Angeles. That kind of immediacy changes how we budget future seasons.”

FlowCut Pro is available under tiered subscription plans starting at USD 79 per month per seat, with enterprise tiers that include on-premise caching and SOC-2-compliant storage. The company also announced a “1,000 Projects” grant program that will award free annual licenses to documentary teams with budgets under USD 500,000, aiming to democratize access to high-end tooling.
