Dubai, UAE – Park Hyatt Dubai, one of the city’s best-known waterfront hotels on the banks of Dubai Creek, has entered the final stage of an extensive renovation and is targeting a reopening by the end of the first half of 2027.
The hotel, which first opened in 2005 as part of the wider Dubai Creek Resort, closed its doors in May 2026 to carry out the works. Its management has said the timeline was extended to allow every part of the guest experience to be refined before welcoming guests back.
What guests can expect
- Upgraded rooms and suites
- New dining concepts
- Refined wellness and recreation facilities
- Preservation of the property’s distinctive Creekside character and architecture
The current project follows an earlier transformation in 2021, carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, which upgraded rooms and refreshed public spaces.
Part of a wave of Dubai landmark reopenings
Park Hyatt Dubai is one of several well-known Dubai destinations scheduled to return in 2027, as owners invest in refreshing established properties to compete with a fast-growing pipeline of new hotels. For travellers and event planners, the reopening will bring back one of the city’s few resort-style hotels set beside the historic Creek, close to Dubai Festival City and the airport.
A confirmed reopening date has not yet been announced.
