Dubai, UAE – British Airways returns to Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, resuming its London Heathrow–Dubai route after a suspension of services to several Middle East destinations earlier this year.
Flight schedule
- Route: London Heathrow (LHR) – Dubai International (DXB)
- Start date: 3 November 2026
- Frequency: one daily flight over the winter season, with plans to increase to twice daily
Why it matters
London–Dubai is one of the busiest international air corridors, serving the large British community in the UAE as well as tourists and business travellers. The return of British Airways adds more choice and capacity on the route ahead of the peak winter and festive travel season.
More airlines coming back
British Airways is one of several international carriers restoring Dubai services. Lufthansa Group airlines, including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings, are also expected to resume flights to Dubai later in November. Airlines say they continue to monitor the regional situation, so travellers are advised to check the latest schedules before booking.
