Dubai, UAE โ New speed limits are now in force on five Dubai roads from Sunday, 1 November 2026. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police said the changes are designed to improve traffic flow and road safety, with signs updated and speed cameras recalibrated.
Speed limits raised
- Al Asayel Street: 60 km/h โ 80 km/h
- Al Mustaqbal Street: 60 km/h โ 70 km/h
- Latifa bint Hamdan Street: 60 km/h โ 70 km/h
Speed limits lowered

What drivers should know
The changes apply to specific sections of each road rather than necessarily the full length, as shown on RTA’s published maps. Motorists should follow the new speed-limit signs on these stretches, as radars have been updated to match the revised limits.
