Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) has signed five strategic Memoranda of Understanding with German-based companies and organisations during the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) International Roadshow at the Expo Real property fair in Munich.
The five agreements
- Siemens AG: digital delivery, advanced technology, modern construction methods and low-carbon infrastructure
- Partners Group: private-sector participation, public-private partnership (PPP) structures, bankability and risk allocation
- PATRIZIA: infrastructure and real assets, financing, governance, ESG and green finance
- HENN: design standards, masterplanning, urban and climate-responsive design, and BIM
- German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK): business introductions and knowledge sharing on PPP and Musataha structures
A US$56 billion pipeline
The roadshow promoted Abu Dhabi’s capital projects programme of around 500 projects worth more than US$56 billion, covering housing, transport, culture, education and social infrastructure. ADPIC reported more than 100 targeted business and government meetings during the event.
The Abu Dhabi delegation included the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and Abu Dhabi Investment Office, alongside roadshow partners Aldar, Bloom Holding, LEAD Development, Modon and Trojan Construction.
ADIS goes year-round
The Munich stop is part of ADPIC’s plan to turn ADIS from an annual summit into a year-round international platform, following earlier roadshows in Singapore, Shanghai and Türkiye. Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid of ADPIC said the emirate has the size, project pipeline and institutions needed to deliver its next stage of infrastructure growth.
